Have installed app to my Samsung phone, but cannot even open it. Message says that I have a problem with my internet. This is not the case as all my other apps seem ok.
Just about to use this on a trip to NZ/AUS. It seems that the app on my phone is only suitable for topping up a currency and checking on balance and transactions. The facility to transfer between "currency wallets" is not available on the android phone app. This is a real pain. Have to take my iPad in order to perform this action. Will let you know how we get on.
Have tried to top up the card over 20 times now with no luck....awful app. Update 17/11/18 New app...new problems. No longer compatible with my device. Well done!
Since update have lost all transaction records bar most recent 2 . Not impressed
Made it so easy to manage our money in Italy in July and Gran Canaria in August. We can also save on it for next years holiday. Didnt take any cash with us for the first time ever. Easy to add/remove money, got a better exchange rate by withdrawing cash and/or paying by card at local rate whilst there. Fab peace of mind as just left small amount on it and topped up when needed via the app. So simple
Works well and being about to get hold of customer service is fast and efficient. Very confused over what app to use as they're seems to be two Post Office Travel apps. Which one is the real deal?
WHY DO YOU HAVE A TEXT NUMBER REGISTERED IN JERSEY / GUERNSEY??? I've just been charged £1.40 because you don't have a UK text number that I can activate the card on? Why?
Beyond useless. I also have the other Post Office travel money card app which doesn't allow me to top up using a debit card and after I phoned them they offered no help to sort the problem out other than use this app which won't link to my card. Won't be using it again. Update, it's now allowed to me top up using other TMC app but the hassle it's taken still means I won't use any more
The app is a waste of time. You can view ballances in all currencies but that is all you can do, view stuff. If you want to move money's between (wallets) you cant. You need a desktop site ro do that. The card and tech support is just as bad. My card won't let me make any online purchases. Im told there is nothing wrong.. Clearly the problem is me taking out a card the post office. The idea is great. The reality is frustration. I won't be taking it with me abroad to find it wont work
